Education Business Partnerships (EBPs), sometimes referred to as Education Business Partnership Organisations, or EBPOs, are UK-government-sponsored bodies which link the worlds of business and education to offer young people a rewarding and realistic introduction to work.
EBPs are regionally-based and supported by a national network organisation, the National Education Business Partnership Network.

The work of EBPs is sponsored by the Department for Children, Schools and Families. "Work-related learning" has been a statutory part of the National Curriculum since 2004. The work of EBPs fall within its definition, namely: "Planned activity that uses the context of work to develop knowledge, skills and understanding useful in work, including learning through the experience of work, learning about work and working practices, and learning skills for work."[1]
In March 2011, the Young People's Learning Agency stated that the Department for Education, successor to the DCSF, had confirmed[2] that funding for Education Business Partnership Services had been withdrawn with effect from 31 March 2011 and that schools would decide whether to buy in their services locally.
